The citizen of the Russian Federation asked for asylum in Ukraine, explaining that the harassment by Russian security services for his political and religious views.
As reported by the State border service, on the night of Saturday, the border guards Department “Krasnopole” of Sumy detachment with the help of night vision device detained the Russian citizen who tried to illegally enter the Ukraine, crossing the border out of the checkpoint.

“I took part in actions against the current government in Russia, went to rallies, wrote petitions. Also in Russia I was persecuted for religious views,” he said, adding that is a believer.
“A week ago my house was raided by the secret service and illegally began to search. Promised to prosecute for the fact that I take part in actions against the government of the Russian Federation”, – says the Russian.
