Paruby signed a bill ending the friendship between Ukraine and Russia, following Poroshenko


The head of the Ukrainian Parliament Andrei Parubiy put the signature under the bill No. 0206, which declares the termination of the agreement on friendship, cooperation and partnership between Ukraine and the Russian Federation, reports replyua.net with reference to the UNN.

Next sign the bill should the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko. Recall, today, December 6, during meeting of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine 277 people’s deputies at the plenary session of Parliament voted “for” the rupture of the Treaty of friendship, cooperation and partnership between Ukraine and the Russian Federation, reports replyua.net. Note, in the accepted document it is reported that since April 1, 2019 the agreement is terminated.

“Termination of the Treaty of friendship frees Ukraine from any obligation in respect to its performance and does not affect the rights, obligations or legal situation of Ukraine, which emerged as the result of the execution of the Treaty prior to its termination, in accordance with article 70 of the Vienna Convention on the law of treaties”, – stated in the bill. Cost to report that the document was voted by 108 MPs from the faction of the BPP, 72 – from the faction “people’s front”, 34 – independent, 17 – “Samopomich”, 4 – “Renaissance”, 16 – “Batkivshchyna”, 6, “the Will of the people”.
