Poroshenko has signed the law on social protection: who is impacted by change

Ukraine signed the law aimed at respecting and protecting the rights of domestic military

President Petro Poroshenko has signed the law “On peculiarities of state policy on ensuring state sovereignty of Ukraine on the temporarily occupied territories in the Donetsk and Lugansk regions” during his visit to the plant on Sunday, August 26. The signature of the document took place in the presence of ambassadors and military.

Previously, for this law voted by the Verkhovna Rada. The document envisages amendments to certain laws in connection with the adoption of the law on de-occupation of Donbass.

In accordance with the new law provided for and guaranteed the rights of Ukrainian troops in connection with the operation of the joint forces. In addition, the document is guaranteed to improve the level of social protection of servicemen.

When drafting the text of the law noted that its goal is the provision of a comprehensive settlement of the question of social protection of citizens who will participate in OOS.

Before that, we were told that this Independence Day, defense Minister Stepan Poltorak for the first time used a new greeting for the troops during the parade. On August 24 the parade on the occasion of independence Day of Ukraine, which was called “March of Independence” has officially made a new military greeting “Glory to Ukraine! Glory To The Heroes!”.

Until now, military personnel officially used the greeting of the Soviet time.

We were told that the first part of the greeting — Glory to Ukraine! — appeared in the times of Ukrainian national Republic (1917-1920). “Glory to Ukraine!” with the answer “glory to Heroes!” was adopted as the organizational password greeting among members of the OUN and UPA in the beginning of the Second world war.
Special distribution greeting received through the use of activists and supporters of the Euromaidan in 2013-2014.

August 24, Khreshchatyk were 4.5 thousand military. Highlight of the parade was the participation of women in the armed forces, air shows and demonstration of new products of Ukrainian voenproma. In General, the main street of the country passed 250 pieces of equipment.
