The Armenian President signed a decree on resignation of Ministers from “Dashnaktsutiun” and “Prosperous Armenia”, the Prime Minister’s resignation expected

The President of Armenia Armen Sargsyan signed decrees on dismissal of all the Ministers and governors representing the party “prospering Armenia” and “Dashnaktsutiun”.

The decrees posted on the presidential website.

Earlier, Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinian ordered to prepare the appropriate orders.

“From this moment on, they are all dismissed,” he said.Pashinyan at the rally on Baghramyan Avenue in Yerevan on Tuesday.

He also said that he will resign after de jure will come into force a decree on the release from office of Ministers and governors”.

“I will resign as soon as de jure will come into effect the decrees. First, no one thought I cling to this position,” he said.Pashinyan.

However, he noted that after his retirement will continue to perform the duties of the Prime Minister. “So provided by the Constitution”, — said N. Pashinyan.

After his resignation within seven days, the Parliament must elect a new Prime Minister. “If you do not elect a new Prime Minister, then again after seven days, the Parliament must elect a new Prime Minister. If not choose, will be held early parliamentary elections. But we the people can not allow the Parliament to elect new Prime Minister”, — said N. Pashinyan.

The Armenian government is mostly formed by representatives of the party of the Prime Minister “Civil contract” and “EFC”, uniting the party of the Prime Minister with the other two.

Of the party “Dashnaktsutyun” belong to the portfolios of Minister of agriculture and Minister of economic development and investment.

Party “prosperous Armenia” headed by one of the richest people of Armenia Gagik Tsarukyan, belong to the portfolios of Minister of sport and youth Affairs, Ministry of emergency situations, Minister of energy infrastructure and natural resources.
