According to the results of a sociological survey conducted at the end of October, the most likely candidate to win the presidential election is the leader of “Batkivshchyna” Yulia Tymoshenko (14,0%), the current President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko (12.7 per cent) and the leader of the party “For life” Vadim Rabinovich (11,7%). Other candidates receive less support voters: Svyatoslav Vakarchuk and Yuriy Boyko — by 11,2%, Vladimir Zelensky and 10.3%, Anatoliy Hrytsenko — by 8.7%, Oleg Lyashko — by 6.8%, Andriy Sadovy is 1.8% .
This is stated in a sociological study published by “Eutoday.net” with reference to international research center BURI-Ukraine (The Belgium-Ukraine Research Institute).
The researchers note that for more accurate results, they changed the procedure of communicating with those voters who have definitely decided to take part in the vote, but still undecided on its candidate. With extended interviews of the respondents indicated politicians for whom they vote most likely. The majority of these respondents moved in favor of Svyatoslav Vakarchuk (7,2%), Vadim Rabinovich (6.3%) and Vladimir Zelensky (5,1%) and this somewhat changed the overall results of sociological research. The authors note that in the survey listed the names of those politicians who are most likely to participate in presidential elections.
The survey was conducted on the territory of Ukraine the international research center BURI-Ukraine (Belgium) in the period from 25 to 31 October 2018. The total number of respondents amounted to 2012. Method of survey — direct interviews. The probable error is 2.2%.
