Ukrainian diplomats noted that Russia’s actions have nothing to do with international law.

The Ministry of foreign Affairs regarded the introduction of Russian sanctions against 322 of Ukrainian citizens and 68 companies as the continuation of Russian aggression against Ukraine.

As stated in the statement of the foreign Ministry, justification by the aggressor state of its actions are far-fetched and manipulative, and the “special economic measures” have nothing to do with international law.

Ukrainian diplomats have said that international sanctions against the Kremlin were a response to Russian military aggression.

“They can be revoked after unconditional and final end to Russia’s illegal occupation of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, city Sevastopol, the territory of the Donetsk and Lugansk regions”, – said in a statement.

“Ukraine will take all necessary measures to protect interests of legal and physical persons of Ukraine in the framework of national legislation, and using the tools of international law”, – said the Minister.

As reported the UNIAN, today, on 1 November, Russia imposed sanctions against the 322 citizens and 68 companies from Ukraine.

Among individuals and companies targeted by sanctions, officials of the presidential administration of Ukraine, heads of Executive agencies and major Ukrainian companies, deputies of the Verkhovna Rada of the VIII convocation, the judges of the constitutional court of the major Ukrainian entrepreneurs, state enterprises and legal entities controlled by the big businessmen of Ukraine (full list).

In the relevant resolution of the Russian government stated that it aimed “at countering unfriendly actions against Russian citizens and legal entities from Ukraine and the normalization of bilateral relations.” The government of the Russian Federation reserves the right to cancel the inputted special economic measures in case of cancellation of Ukraine’s restrictive measures imposed on Russian citizens and legal entities.
