Walker accused the American media of “hastiness” on the Crimea

The US special envoy to Ukraine Kurt Volker felt that American media is too “hurried” with the development of stories about the possible recognition of Washington’s transfer of Crimea to Russia. He told about it in interview to TV channel OstWest.

Answering the question about the ambiguity of the position of the US authorities, in particular Donald trump, who called informed the Russian Crimea, Walker recalled that, in the future, that the position of Washington was confirmed by the White house.

“I think the American media rushed to the story about the recognition of the annexation of Crimea. The white house has expressed a very clear — Advisor to the President for national security John Bolton and a spokesman for the White house Sarah Huckabee Sanders clarified that the US does not plan to recognize the Russian annexation of Crimea. So we must understand the American position,” explained Walker.
